Arrived for service eval Water damage in the upstairs bathroom - refrigerant line set appears to be the cause but could not see an issue before line set inaccessible System was left off by last technician at air handler disconnect Zone control system - has no duct bypass - likely caused compressor failure Supply plenum no longer sealed - someone tried to seal it with duct tape and the tape came loose again Condenser TXV no longer mounted and hanging loose inside the condenser Turned everything on VERY low on refrigerant Compressor fine electrically but mechanically failed System running despite operating below low pressure safety - low pressure switch is bad and needs to be replaced as well Leak detected on indoor coil System replacement recommended due to cost of repairs Customer will talk to his wife and I’ll follow up with him on Monday as they go out of town tomorrow
