For this evaluation, the customer stated her system was having a hard time keeping up and had been running for over 14 hours a day. When I looked back on the Google nest, Thursday the 21st it had ran for 19 1/2 hours. I took a temperature Delta and the system was only producing a 3° split. I went outside and gauged up where I had a -2° sub, cool and an extremely high super heat, indicating that the system is low on refrigerant and there is a leak due to how the system was installed. I was unable to get the coil door off in order to leak search it so after speaking with my service manager, we went ahead and agreed to order a new coil under warranty and replace it once it comes in. I got the system charged up to a 6° sub cool in order to get the customer by until the new coil comes in.
