Technician did find biological growth on evapor You recommend UV system to help with the biological growth. Tech did find that the inrush amps draw was high and recommends a compressor saver to low the inrush Technician got good Delta as well as good refrigerate readings system is operating up to standards right now.
I made two estimates for the different parts of the job and emailed them the house is currently condemned and we would have to get power cut off on the service side to do the work
Replaced oil filter, air filter, spark plugs and 2 quarts of fully synthetic oil. Checked battery upon start up and while running. System is functioning normally at this time.
Arrived to no cool. Geothermal heat pump installed in 2013. System had no pressure on the line set. Found a leak at the reversing valve. System will not hold refrigerant for more than a few minutes, it is a major leak. Estimate is to replace the reversing valve, modify the line so this doesn’t happen again, and recharge the system with r410a refrigerant. Due to the age of the equipment, technician suggests replacing the unit with something new, more efficient and something that has parts and labor warranties.
Full electrical inspection. System looks good. Found a broken disconnect at one of the AC units. LS set for hvac guy on ,Monday. Has had another company out like 5 times because of blown soft starts.
