Tech arrived at a 2 system tune-up. Upon inspection, the main system was functioning well. Drain was clear. Filter was replaced. Capacitor were within specs. Delta was within range. The bedroom system was low on refrigerant. The coil was search and leaking. The blower capacitor was out of tolerance. The Delta was very low. The customer was informed of recommendations today. Due to age and price of repairs, the customer would like to speak with a Comfort Advisor about upgrading to something more reliable with warranties behind it. The meeting is set for April 9th 3-5pm.

On arrival system was off. I determined that the indoor unit was blowing a fuse due to a burnt relay. I replaced the relay and installed a customer provided thermostat and the system ran and cooled. I inspected the outdoor unit and found the capicator incorrectly wires, the contactor was pitted and the compressor was overamping on start up. I re wired the capicator and installed a contactor and compressor saver kit. When I left the system was running and cooling. Thanks for choosing comfort experts and have a great day!

On arrival system was running and producing a 20 degree delta. The drain line flowed when flushed. Indoor unit had biological growth covering the blower and coil. The outdoor unit passed all electrical testing. I recommended a uv system to kill the biological growth and provide clean air. As I left system was running and cooling.

Upon arrival for service system on and cooling poorly. Inspected system and found refrigerant low. Leak searched and found leak in evap coil. Added free pound of refrigerant and pressure returned to functioning levels but still slightly low and risks leaking back out. Fan and compressor amp draw within unit specifications. Coil heavily corroded. Dust and growth on blowers. Capacitor within tolerance. Drain line clear. Due to cost of repairs and age of system recommended speaking with engineer. Customer agreed and scheduled for Thursday July 13th 6-8.

Tech arrived at a CTU. It was cold outside Upon inspection, the capacitor was almost out of tolerance and was replaced today. The contactor and fan motor had rust present. The dela was within range. The filter was dirty. There was not replacement available today. The coil and blower area was dirty. There was growth in the system including on the blower motor wiring. The drain system was clear and bleach was poured. There was no inline float switch but there was a wet switch. There was no observed surge protection. The customer was given pricing and information on recommendations. A level 2 duct cleaning is recommended to get the system and ductwork clean. An upgraded Polarized Media Filtration and UV system can help keep the system clean and is highly recommended. The inline drain safety and surge protector can prevent future damages. The customer took notes on the information given on the walkthrough at the end of the call and will speak with her husband about how they would like

Tech arrived to a warranty No Heat. Upon arrival the thermostat showed 50 degrees and was in the off position. The thermostat was switched to heat and the system was evaluated. The control board was flashing with 3 red flashes possibly indicating a pressure switch problem. The pressure switch was bypassed and the system regained functionality. The pressure switch was replaced and the system was tested multiple times. The heating system reached complete ignition each time it was tested. The customer was given information about Duct Cleaning, Media Filtration, Surge Protection, and Electrical Audit benefits. The system was functioning upon departure
