2023 carrier airhandler Checked and tightened all electrical connections Changed Customer provided filter Drain was clear and draining Blower motor and wheel were acceptable Evaporator coil was acceptable Delta t was low 2023 carrier heatpump Checked and tightened all electrical connections Dual run capacitor was within manufacture range Primary electrical unit was acceptable Refrigerant levels were very low Washed Condenser coil from inside out Cleared debris out of unit Waxed top of unit Performed leak search of lineset and Evaporator coil due to low Refrigerant levels. Found leak on weld from previous company that installed the system. Customer is going to have that company come out and diagnose the system as it is still under warranty. Turned outdoor disconnect off to prevent damage to the compressor
Thermostat wasn't working, put old one back on Primary electrical control needs to be replaced System is on
Has furnace with straight cool condenser installed in 2011. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. PSC blower motor and capacitor are acceptable. Gas pressure and igniter are in range and working as they should. Heat exchanger is acceptable. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Installed and compressor saver and a customer supplied thermostat on this visit.
Found dual run capacitor failed, cleaned condenser coil, refrigerant levels in range, high amps on startup. System operating normally.
