For this super tune-up I inspected the air handler and condenser. For the most part everything was measuring within manufacturer specs, however the compressor capacitor was out of tolerance by more than 5%. I informed the customer the importance of replacing the capacitor, additionally I informed her the benefits of a UV system and air quality as well as functionality of her system. She expressed interest in cleaning her ducks as she tries to do it but cannot reach it with her vacuum hose. Lastly I recommended a compressor saver as her unit is 8 years old and amping pretty high.
