For this evaluation the customers main system had started leaking water through the ceiling. The float switch had come out of the housing and did not trip when it was supposed to so all the water was coming out of the float Switch into the floor of the attic and through the ceiling. I talked to the customer about his options and he wanted to go with clearing the drain line from under the sink for now and adding pan strips. I cleared the drain line and installed the float switches and poured roughly 5 gallons of water down the line with no issues.
