During this visit I discovered that the down stairs thermostat failed because it would send 24v off and on. So I installed a new one. Upstairs had 2 main failure points the y control behind the thermostat broke also outside defrost control is having failure. I by passed the board the system would work fine. I turned it off and did a hard reset wired the board back and it worked agian. I recommend we order a new defrost control board under warranty and add easy starts to both system. These easy starts can protect the system in many ways. After talking more he decided it best we do the easy starts. This is now installed along with thermostat. **********I'm going to pause the call so the office can collect the invoice amount.************
