For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and he told me that the breaker was tripping every time the system would try to turn on. I took the plug out of the compressor and tested each terminal to ground where I was getting continuity and also common to start common to run and start to run did not equal the same indicating that the compressor was in fact grounded. When I looked up the warranty information on the Goodman website is stated that it expired in 2023 and we had installed the system in 2018. I contacted Goodman warranty support and they informed me I needed to send an email of the situation with the new homeowner and the original purchaser which I did and will be waiting to hear back if the warranty of 10 years will be reinstated.
