12yr Hydrostatic Test Needed - Fire Extinguisher Code Deficiency: (6) 10# ABC During your most recent Fire Protection Inspection, our technicians noted that one or more of your Fire Extinguishers are due for a code-required hydrostatic test per: NFPA 10: 5.2: Dry chemical extinguishers every 12 years Disassemble extinguisher and discard old fire extinguishing agent. Inspect extinguisher cylinder for internal damage. Perform hydrostatic pressure test on cylinder. Replace all O-rings and valve stems. Upon successful hydrostatic pressure test, reassemble the extinguisher. Recharge the extinguisher with the new dry chemical extinguishing agent. Check for any leaks using leak detection agent.
