12yr Hydrostatic Test Due: (1) Ansul System (2013 Manufacture Date) (3-Gallon Tanks x3) (Ansul Cartridge x1) (Regulator Tests x2) (Ansul Hose Assemblies x4) During your most recent Fire Protection Inspection, our technicians noted that one or more of your Fire Suppression Tanks are due for a hydrostatic test per: NFPA 17A: 7.5.1 The following parts of wet chemical extinguishing systems shall be subjected to hydrostatic pressure testing at intervals not exceeding 12 years: Wet Chemical Containers Auxiliary Pressure Containers Hose Assemblies Fire Suppression Tanks are required to be pressure tested using water or some other non-compressible fluid to help prevent unwanted failure or rupture of the cylinder. NFPA 17A also requires the replacement of the cartridge used to expel suppression chemical hoses, o-rings, and burst discs. The proposal below is all-inclusive and includes all parts and labor.
