For this evaluation the customer stated the unit had stopped heating a couple days ago. When I showed up the system was off and when I turned it on it started heating with 20⁰ of temperature rise. The heat strips would not kick on unless manually engaged even though the thermostat is wired correctly, however the thermostat that the customer's have is only a 1 heat one cool thermostat and they need a 2 Heat, 1 Cool thermostat (TH4210U). Additionally the condenser has what appears to be chew marks from mice on the wiring inside the condenser with exposed copper, that can cause fuses to pop from rub out. I used electrical tape to cover the exposed wiring as best I could.
