During this visit I looked at a 5ton and 2.5 ton. 5ton issues and codes violations. 1. Low on 410a. After leaking searching I found a leak at the king vavle on the liquid line side. 2. System line set code issue. The system line set runs about inch away from the roof. They are currently doing a new roof. This line set is in the way of being shoot with nails. I do not trust this line set for this reason and because it is piced together running 1/2 inch to 3/4 between the half way point. This line set should be solid all the way thru. 3. Code violation. This system should have 2 disconnects one for each dedicated circuit. 4. Code violation This system should have all of it ducts hanging rather then snaking along the attic floor. 5. Duct work issues. Currently there are piece of duct that are not all the way insulated and some are ripped. This can be repaired. Duct work beyond this point can be left alone. 2.5 ton system 1.
