For this evaluation the customer's system was throwing an L1, Low Pressure Cutoff fault. When I gauged up and the system was in second stage cooling the system had a 16⁰ superheat and a 10⁰ Subcool indicating the system was appropriately charged. Amp draws on the compressor were within range and the filter and condenser were clean. The furnace was also throwing a fault code saying that the blower motor was operating outside of limits. Ductwork looked good with no kinks, and there was nothing obstructing the evaporater coil. As a precaution I went ahead and leak searched the evaporator coil however I was not getting any hits indicating the coil was leaking. Unfortunately during my testing I was unable to replicate what may have caused the low pressure fault. I updated the furnace as it was due for a software update as well.
