For this job I performed an evaluation. I began my evaluation checking the outdoor unit I quickly noticed that the compressor was trying to turn on but the fan was not. I checked the dual run capacitor and it was out of tolerance. I replaced the dual run capacitor and recommended a deep clean on the condenser coil because the homeowner has a cottonwood tree and condenser had a massive airflow restriction due to it.
