Tech Cody arrived customer's home, I met Mr Lopez and he directed me inside to the thermostats and attic access to the furnace unit. I started my inspection upstairs, the homeowner had a cleanable filter so I did not put a new one in, it was dirty so I let him know that it was in need of cleaning. I inspected the blower wheel and found minimal dust buildup so I let the homeowner know how dust build up on the wheel can cause the motor to work harder. I inspected the evaporator coil and found it to be clean and free of corrosion. I then turned the system on to heat and watched as the safeties for the furnace went through all their checks and the furnace turned on with no issue. I then headed outside to the condensing unit, when taking my electrical readings I found that the capacitor was 12% out of tolerance. I brought Mr Lopez out to the unit and showed him how it was out of tolerance and he asked for a quote on the replacement. I also noticed that the unit did not have a hard start kit
