On arrival the system was running but not cooling effectively. The indoor unit produced a 13 degree delta and the thermostat was 6 degrees off what it was calling for. The subcool for the system was in range so the reason for the lack of cooling is airflow and cleanliness related. The indoor blower and coil need to be cleaned to help the system cool better along with the outdoor units coil. The outdoor units capicator is significantly out of tolerance and should be replaced, and the outdoor units safety disconnect is missing it's cover. I recommended an air scrubber uv system to help mitigate the effects of the extreme biological growth that is growing in the indoor unit. I also recommended a drain switch to protect against water damage from a clogged drain line. After discussing this with the homeowner I recommended speaking with a comfort advisor before we sink money into an older and inefficient system.
