Tech arrived for a tuneup. Upon inspection the capacitor was within specs. The contactor was in working condition. The condenser coils were dirty and were hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. The system did not appear to have Surge Protection. The filter was dirty and replaced. The blower area was also dirty. The drain system was clear and bleach was poured. The heating system reached complete ignition. The insulation was low in the attic area. The upstairs thermostat batteries were replaced. The customer asked the tech to see if he could get the pilot light lit on the fireplace. The fireplace was evaluated and the tech was able to get the system function. The customer was give quotes and information on recommendations. The customer is interested in #Solar, however they are not ready to move forward with an Energy Audit at this time. They will discuss insulation upgrade and surge protection for another visit. The system was functioning upon departure.
