Good morning Marissa CJ I provided quarterly service and mouse service call. Inspecting the exterior of the home I found holes along the utility lines going into the front of home. I packed these with copper mesh to block mice from entering. Inspecting the first floor, I found the bait station in the storage area untouched, and I moved it to the fuse box, which is closer to the utility lines coming into the home. Directly upstairs in the kitchen behind the stove is an inch wide gap between the floor and wall. You reported that this is the area the family sees mice running out of. You had already lined this gap with a glue trap and caught a mouse already. But evidence of mice running between the traps, as well as under them, means that they know these boards are unsafe and learned to avoid them.
