Good afternoon I completed your initial service today. I inspected the front and backyard and found multiple ant hills spread throughout the yard. I spot treated some of these areas with a liquid residual for ants. I treated the exterior foundation around doors and windows with the liquid residual as well. I placed four termite monitors on the corners of the house, these are to help us monitor for a future termite activity. I also placed a few piles of granular throughout the yard. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for the treatments full effect. As a reminder the first quarterly technician will be here in a month. however, if you have issues or questions before then, please reach out to the office. When the sink is reinstalled, feel free to move the box wherever you see fit, and we will worry about it the next time we are here. I then inspected the basement and found mouse droppings in the unfinished parts of the basement. I placed three small bait stations around the sill of the unfinished basement and one station under the stairs. In the other small unfinished closet, I placed another small bait station. I also placed two small bait stations in the garage by the garage door. During my exterior inspection, I found a small opening where utility lines enter the house, and I used copper mesh to block this up. I also placed a large bait station next to the AC unit. As such, I completed your 30 day follow up pest service. I swept away spider webs and wasp nests as needed. I checked the termite monitors and found no activity at this time. I checked the exterior rodent bait stations and found no activity. I replaced the bait. It is recommended to cut back all vegetation in direct contact with (or close proximity to) the house at least 12 inches. This will help prevent pests from entering your home.
