It was a pleasure speaking with you today! Today I installed (15) termite bait stations around the perimeter of the home as well as 1 Above Ground Station in the basement rim joist at the site of mud tubes. This will aid in the elimination and prevention of any current or future termite infestations. It can take up to 90 days from the start of feeding to fully eliminate a termite colony. Swarming during this period is normal and should be expected. I applied a liquid residual around the exterior of the home. This will aid in the elimination and prevention of various pests such as ants and other surface crawling insects that may try to enter the structure. I made sure to avoid any personal items located against the foundation of the home as well as any flowering plants. I placed 2 large rodent bait stations on the exterior of the home and 4 smaller stations in the unfinished areas of the basement. We checked up in the attic, and unfortunately the attic is not floored so we could not enter. However we did place 2 mouse bait stations at the entrance. Then we checked the mouse bait stations and snap traps in the basement to find no activity, along with spot treated with a residual insecticide for general pests. Next we inspected the exterior of your home and replaced bait in the existing rodent bait stations due to heavy activity, and added an extra bait station to the chimney side of the home. We did notice signs of a good amount of squirrel activity in the mulch and soil which could be what was in the wall.
