I inspected the exterior rodent bait station and the station in the shed and they both showed moderate activity, I replaced with fresh bait. I found a small wasp nest on the wood gazebo, I applied a non-repellent solution in that area and removed the nest. I applied a non-repellent solution around the exterior foundation, including under the deck, and along the siding to target ants, spiders, and other general pests. Good afternoon Eryn and Jason. Today we completed your initial pest control service. We addressed your concerns for carpenter bee activity out back. We did find some carpenter bee burrow holes under the deck, but they seem to be inactive and older. We treated these holes as a precaution with a residual insecticide. We do recommend filling those carpenter bee burrow holes with some wood putty or paintable epoxy, then stain/varnish any exposed wood to prevent future activity, No other structural pests reported on the interior, or found, at the time of service. We inspected the exterior of the home and removed a small bald faced hornets nest from the front eaves. Then treated the exterior perimeter with a liquid residual insecticide to help control surface crawling insects. We performed a termite inspection to find no termite activity, along with placing monitoring devices around the four corners of the home. Hello it was nice speaking with you today. I completed your initial service. I placed gel bait on windowsills and crack and crevices that I noticed activity. I left you with two bait arenas to place if activity spikes somewhere else. I put two mouse bait stations in the garage and one in the room next to the garage where droppings were found. I also placed a larger station outside under the deck. I applied a liquid treatment to the perimeter foundation of the home to combat ants and other general pests. And at the corners of the home, I installed termite monitors that we’ll check with each visit. I recommend calling us in two weeks if activity remains high. If not, we’ll be back in around 30 days.
