Since you live in a multi unit building, the source of activity may not be limited to just your unit. Sealing off any gaps impossible, entry points will help reduce pest activity. I placed roach gel bait in the cracks and crevices around the kitchen and near the water pipes. I sprayed the interior floorboards and behind the stove and underneath the sink with a non-repellent liquid solution, targeting ants, spiders, roaches, and other general pests.
