Good afternoon Debbie. Today we completed your initial pest control service. We addressed your concerns with ant activity on the interior. We added some ant gel bait around the interior to help control any live activity that may be around. during our inspection, we did notice some old mouse droppings in the basement area. We added a mouse bait station to the garage due to a small gap on the rolling door. Then we inspected the exterior of the home to find numerous ant trails all along the foundation leading into the home. We also noticed a large hole in the foundation near the AC unit that can be leading to rodents and other pest entry. Please see the attached picture. Heavy vegetation present around the foundation. We do recommend trimming back 12-24” any vegetation that is touching the foundation/siding as this can lead to pest activity. Hi, good morning, it was nice meeting you today. Today I completed the premium plus initial service. I applied a non-repellent solution around the baseboards of the living room and kitchen and then another non-repellent solution around the exterior foundation to target ants and other general pests. I left an ant bait station on the kitchen counter to monitor and control ant activity. I removed a large amount of cobwebs around the exterior to reduce spider activity. I put fresh bait into the exterior rodent bait stations that were already on the property and move them near the back door and near the HVAC unit. I put a new exterior rodent bait station in the front behind a bush. I put fresh bait into a rodent bait station in the garage. I added two more rodent bait stations in the garage, one on each side of the garage door. I put two rodent bait stations in the detached, shed front and back. We recommend setting the dehumidifier in the basement too 40% to lower humidity and moisture that these insects thrive on. It was great to speak with you today before I got started with your quarterly inspection/service. Today during my inspection on the exterior of the home and located exterior rodent stations, which showed minimal signs of activity however, I did replenish the material inside to continue controlling rodents trailing around.I know it may seem silly with the inclement weather however, the area that I treated around the exterior foundation was still dry and protected by your siding and the back porch. I did treat these areas thoroughly to continue controlling season insect trying to enter the home. I would give today’s application 5 to 10 days to see the full effect. Today I inspected the house for any and all pest activity and per your request, I inspected the first floor as well as the basement and while I was in the basement, I checked the unfinished part for termite activity not seeing anything currently however you did state that the house was treated for termites years ago. I did not notice any activity in the home however, when I was finished inside, I treated the exterior foundation with a residual liquid treatment to control seasonal insects. Trying to enter the home. I did also minimize cobwebs, noticing on abundance of caterpillars all over the siding and do you believe it’s from the dens forest around the home. I did inspect the detached barn, noticing some carpenter bee activity on the A-frame structures and soffits. I did treat these areasaccordingly to control the activity. However, I highly recommend staining the barn. If not the entire barn, I do recommend all of the under sides get treated for this will help slow down activity. Wh
