I checked the perimeter of the house for carpenter bee holes and wasp nest. I also inspected for possible points of rodent ingress. I found a few carpenter holes in the wood above the front door and several along the wood in the back of the house. While providing a spray treatment to the foundation of the home, I also treated these areas that showed carpenter bee activity . The bee holes that I treat today should kill off any of these that come in contact with it over the next 90 days. But newbies may get the clever idea of creating entirely new holes somewhere else on your patio. Any holes that exist next season will be reused by new bees.
