Good afternoon, I was here for a one time bee service. I applied a liquid residual solution to visible carpenter bee holes and nesting exterior areas of eaves, soffits and dormers. We use non-repellent insect controls for carpenter bees currently present, which means we may need to return in 4 weeks to treat as new activity emerges. Carpenter bee activity cannot be prevented with treatment. We can treat and kill the bees in the holes on site, but we cannot stop future bees from coming to the same areas as they are flying insects and first need to come into contact with our treatment. Recommend that unfinished wood be sealed, capped, or painted to reduce the conducive condition creating carpenter bee nesting site. Suggest holes be filled with wood putty in Fall.
