Good afternoon Eryn and Jason. Today we completed your initial pest control service. We addressed your concerns for carpenter bee activity out back. We did find some carpenter bee burrow holes under the deck, but they seem to be inactive and older. We treated these holes as a precaution with a residual insecticide. We do recommend filling those carpenter bee burrow holes with some wood putty or paintable epoxy, then stain/varnish any exposed wood to prevent future activity, No other structural pests reported on the interior, or found, at the time of service. We inspected the exterior of the home and removed a small bald faced hornets nest from the front eaves. Then treated the exterior perimeter with a liquid residual insecticide to help control surface crawling insects. We performed a termite inspection to find no termite activity, along with placing monitoring devices around the four corners of the home. We will return in approximately 30 days to perform your first quarterly service.
